Programs available at Precious Memories Childcare

Precious Memories Childcare offers a home-like environment where we personalize each child’s schedule to meet his or her needs. Our focus is to help them grow physically, socially, and emotionally while assisting in language and cognitive development.

All of our staff are certified and will go above and beyond to help your child learn and grow. We guide your child through each task while providing encouragement and support.

INFANT ROOM (6 weeks to 1 year old):

We excel in promoting good communication with the parents. Detailed daily sheets are completed that include information about diaper changes, bottle feedings and naps. We document all meals and necessary information about your child’s day.

5:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Arrivals and breakfast
8:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. – Structured free play (stories and music)
9:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Art
9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Snack
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Baby gym (work on rolling over, crawling, etc.)
11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Lunch
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Nap time
2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Snack time
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Free play
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Departures

Diapers and bottles are done through out the day, based on each child’s needs and parent requests.

TODDLER ROOM (1 year to 2 years old):

We offer a perfect balance of learning, nurturing, and playtime with age appropriate activities and materials that develop self-esteem and confidence. Daily sheets are sent home to keep you informed as well as having open communication with the teacher and families.

Schedule varies based on the needs of the children. Diapers are changed every 2 hours.

2’s & 3’s Rooms

We have two separate rooms for each age. With this age group the children are able to work on many new skills, such as improving on eating skills, dressing, potty training (when your child is ready) and all aspects of self-care. The children are able to handle routine and make their own choices.

PRE-SCHOOL

This room offers plenty of choices for your child to explore, learn and grow in all domains. Daily activities consist of learning centers with children being free to move from one to another at their own pace. Learning centers include arts & crafts, cooking & science, manipulatives, creative movement, blocks, dramatic play, and sensory.

The preschool schedule will vary being there is morning and afternoon school.

SCHOOL AGE

During the school year we provide transportation to and from some local schools.

We offer children a balance of homework time, structured activities and time to unwind and hang out with their friends.

During the summer we have a variety of activities and fieldtrips that allow your child to have fun, learn, and explore.
